It is not an expectation that clients acknowledge the SERCC in research articles, but should you choose to do so, please use a statement like the following:

"We gratefully acknowledge [Editor’s Name] of the Scientific Editing and Research Communication Core at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine for xxx."

Where xxx might read: 

1.      "critical reading of the manuscript" 

2.      "suggestions toward improving the clarity of the manuscript"
